If you just want to dump something in the tank for a minor cleaning, I've had great luck with Red Line SI-1. If they are really bad, they may need a bench cleaning.

Some people like Seafoam. I like Red Line for this task. But you could try them both on different tanks if you really wanted to.

Does anyone know a good method to clean out fuel injectors when they are out? I have a pair I bought USED and I would like to clean them out... And if I have to send them into a shop how much does it usually cost?

FIC will clean them (our sponsor) and they will replace the O rings as well if they need be.
The cost is like $125, IIRC.

It depends on how dirty they are. If a in tank cleaner is not enough I have had good luck with using an Autovac cleaning system found at some auto repair shops which runs a closed loop through your fuel system for a period of time with cleaners and I think a big step above putting something in the tank but less than removing them for a cleaning. I use Techron on a regular basis when I can but it on sale 2 for 1 to help keep them from getting too bad in the first place. I also ran just a bottle of Techron through one of my motorcycles I had left out all winter due to a surgery and it has 4 carbs. One tank of that and it was idling better than ever and did not need the choke on as long during warm up. If that is not enough then many people use the Seafoam.

They're a sponsor and seemed really great when I inquired about cleaning & re-sizing injectors.
