Stereo & Electronics - will i be happy with a alpine type s sub

im not a real bass guy and my local audio store only has a alpine type s that will fit in the kee audio stealth box i have for my camaro. Will this be enough sub or should i really step up to a jl and order. Like i said im not a crazy bass guy.

absolutely. alpine is a clean sounding sub my friend. JL audio, Kicker, or Alpine would really be all I purchase.

There are better subs out there than Alpine, talk to kee audio. He ought to be able to recommend something better that fits.

if its the new 500rms type s, you should be more than happy. i picked 1 up as a temp sub when my w3v3 died and it sounds great

he just said he doesnt need crazy bass, Type S will be just fine i mainly listen to metal and that sub is perfectly fine for it. If your just going for clarity i would change everything over to boston acoustic but any of the major brands will be just fine anyways. alipine type s is pretty cheap compared to some anyways.
