Default I Bought A Grille

i bought a STULL black powdercoat grille. But i don't think its the same as the ZL1 grille. Does someone know the difference? As far as the Blue bowtie, its just a emblem from Classic right, a 67' grille emblem ?

I think the ZL1 grilles are gray? so just some customizing on my part?

I have thought about buying a nice grill to put on my 02 Z28, but in Texas we are required to have the front license plate attached. I think this sucks and is a waste of money but I know several people who have been pulled over and gotten tickets for up to $150. These cars look so nice with no plate attched on the front looking like a pair of buck teeth.......

I know that if I did it I would be pulled over backing out of my drive way.

This past October, I burned some rubber, made the tires scream a little and an off duty police officer chased me down and had me arrested by his on duty jack booted thugs for reckless driving...(I never exceeded 35 mph, while he rocketed up to 65 with his rugrats in the back seat) I spent a night in jail, went to court and had it dismissed. This guy was an a$$hole like you wouldn't believe...

I can only imagine what will happen if take the front tag off the sob...........

Default front plate law...

I don't know how about TX, but I live in NY and have NEVER put a front plate on any of my cars. It looks retarded. Only got one ticket in 10 years for it, definitely worth the risk....

Maybe I'll take a chance, I have seen other cars without the front plate around here, I have just been gun shy ........so now I need to save up for the grill and bail money....
