Default So I Cracked My Block & am Considering a Slightly Smaller Cam

......while it's apart.

So here are my engine specs:

Stock LS6 lower end with Katech Rod Bolts

Melling Oil Pump

243's with fresh 5 angle valve job
-PRC 650 Valve springs
-Comp Cams Trunion Upgrade

Current cam is an MS3/112

FAST 92 with NW 92mm TB

1 3/4 long tubes

Trans is a T56 from a GTO

Mind you, this motor has not been run since being built, And I've been thinking for a while that the MS3 might have been a little too large. I have a LS6 block on the way, that and my rotating assembly will be dropped of at AES next week. So I'm thinking, now is the time to rethink that cam. I have a friend who has been helping me with my swap. He is planning a future build much more aggressive than mine. He'd love that MS3 and I owe him big time.

I'm thinking the Texas Speed 233/239 .595"/.603" might be better suited for my build.

Car is a 1995 BMW M3, and will not be daily driven. It's gonna get driven a lot, just not daily.

BTW, info here on how I cracked the block:
