Finished motor swap about a week ago, mods are in sig. Computer is tuned for everything but the cam and stall. In the process of buying a house so haven't really had any extra money for a dyno tune. Basically what I'm trying to ask is, is it okay to run it tonight at the track a couple of times just to see if it picked up any. It's an 1/8th mile track.

I wouldn't run it at the track if it were my car and new engine. Just my $.02...

It runs good, I get on it on the street daily, just wasn't to sure if it would make any difference at the track.

If babied cammed, I'd say go for it. But with that cam...I'd wait. Sorry that's just what I think. How can you be sure it'll shift and that it's running safe under wot? In the end, it's your car and you probably won't blow it up if you're driving it around already...but be wary man, shit can grenade real quick!

I wouldn't do it, even on the street I wouldn't push it until it's tuned!

Pedal to the metal until something gives. I think that's the answer you are looking for.

Get a good scan tool and keep an eye on knock retard.Keep it low and the motor will stay alive.Alot of people don't worry about a little knock I like to see 0 knock especially at the track.

No absolutely not.
And you had better go ahead and buy some injectors to take with you to get tuned...that way they can be installed and tuned for as well. You will need them.
