Gears & Axles - will 342 rear from a v6 work on my ws6

i got a local guy whos got a 99 v6 camaro 5 speed parting it out. will the rear end bolt right up to my 2000 ws6? i got 2.73s now and im trying to go with some bigger gears.i believe the camaro has 3.42s. im not worried about my abs.and i have no traction control in my car.just wondering if the rear is a 342 and will it bolt right up?

that way i can put the 2.73 gear on some stands and work on it while racing the 3.42 gears

Yes but you might want to check if its a posi,most V6's got a peg legger.

If it has the Y87 sport pkg then you got 3.42's with a posi.

the rpo code is on the door of every car and will say what rear end it came with from the factory.

the 3.42 gears will throw your speedometer off also, so be aware of that.
