2 Steps to winning:

1) Sell ZL1
2) Buy some driving lessons.

So stock GTR's run 132mph traps in 1600 DA now???

This is clearly a modded GTR vs a Bone stock ZL1 shifting at 4000rpms.

Why was this even posted?

Probably owned a Mach1 at one point in his life.

Bad drivers and/or bad passes happen.

17.5@93MPH in a supercharged Ford? I guess we can assume they all run that slow

This was a completely pointless post. There was nothing particularly interesting about this race. A modified 90k+ car that drives itself outruns a stock 60k car with an 8 year old at the wheel.

Damn dude your good if you can tell the exact rpm hes shifting at.

FWIW there were 2 ZL1's with two different drivers that night and they both trapped 110-112. The car is a dog, especially in bad Da.

word. they come out hard because of their training wheels but then fall on their face.. compared to other comparable comparisons.

i'm starting to think that too. the best they have trapped is 116-117 in a negative DA. very disappointed. i was expecting a 120 mph car.

I think everyone was thinking the exact same thing. My car with 470rwhp was trapping 121mph and running 11s (granted I had DRs). The weight is REALLY killing this car! I had seriously hoped to see this one at least run high 11s. Hopefully the next platform changes this.

The point is the car needs to weigh MUCH less than it does. The weight and major heat soak issues it has is killing it going around the track, as already shown from owners posting disappointing times at Buttonwillow. We sure as hell know it kills it at the strip.

Sad part for the ZL1 is that even my bolt-on MACH would have slapped around that ZL1 with those times...So I would kill the MACH comments.

I still don't see how they are running so bad when I've seen quite a few CTS-V2's running low-mid 12's at 117-119mph
