Street Racing & Kill Stories - C6 Z06 with N2O Vs. supercharged Viper

Don't know the Viper's horsepower, when it was running 8 pounds of boost it made 700/700 SAE. However he's running 10 pounds of boost, so a bit higher output.

My heads/cam/n2o Vette made 682/636 SAE. From a 40 roll all the way to 145 I was able to open a fender on him. His nose was at my door. VERY, VERY close race, great fun.

Yes it does! 335 R888's won't hold in first, that's why a 40 roll. That supercharged Viper hit hard also.

In the 18 years I've lived here I have only seen that light go red ONCE. It goes to nowhere busy. Also we were eating up road fast, if you look carefully you'll see there is a left turn coming up fast ahead of us. It's gentle at 100, not so much at the 145 we were at when I let off.

The cool thing about nitrous is the instant torque down low. It picked up 150 ft lbs of torque at 3,000 rpm. Even with a cammed motor you have LOTS of torque. Besides, I have shorter tires than stock so at 40 my rpms were about 3,200.
