Generation IV Internal Engine - What head bolts??

Hey guys well I went ahead and got this short block http://www.ebay.com/itm/200530622008?redirect=mobile and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what parts to use. Reason bieng is idk wether to get ls1 parts or 5.3 parts. Idk what this engine came out of and I see for the head bolts are for 97-03 and 04up so idk witch to get since the block is not yet here and they havent answered me. So if someone can help my out with this I'd much appriciate it thank you.

When you get the block, stick something thin in the bolt holes to see if they are all the same depth? That's probably a 5.3 block that was bored to 5.7. Price doesn't seem all that good, considering you have to put it together yourself.

Yea that's what I was planning but I tought I'd get em now so I can have em when the block arrives since that's all were waiting on. But no I think it comes assembled if not then yeah deft. not a good price. I hope it is tho.

Without knowing the year of the block, you will have to wait until you get it in to see which bolts that you need.

I finally got in contact with them and they gave me the bolt number so I'm about to order em.
