I had researched this a good bit back a number of years ago. Back when I had disposable $$$. The only / main thing was that I would going to opt for the front mount intercooler vs the twins. From what I had researched they are adequet but the FM was considered optimal.
Only other issue was the D1 was great for "future power" but basically I could pop the motor as it stands and doing nothing but adding boost so then started the list of the more cubic inches, forged internals, heads, and so on and so forth and it soon became a 20k investment and I had to back of and be reasonable.

The only time I would ever consider a Pc1 was if the car would never go beyone stock cubes, no internals and would never be re used on a "future LSx" motor.
The FM at the time was a option from Exotic Perf Plus or Brute Speed when Bob was involved, they offered for some $$$ more a FM vs the twins. Not sure if its a "pro charger" option as I gave up that dream after getting sick with cancer but I would think any good aftermarkt unit that fits 4th gens and just some new piping. Some minor cutting if I recal and you lose your fogs.

This is the route I would suggest you going with using the 30mm cog drive.

30mm is the width of the belt.
Cog means the belt has "Teeth" as do the pullies.
Look at the pictures in the link I posted and you'll see what it looks like.
A cog belt will NOT slip like a serpentine can and will allow considerably less belt tension which will take more side load off the #1 main bearing.
The 30mm drive will also keep the supercharger in the same location that procharger puts it.
Give Dan Schoneck a call. He's the man who makes this drive. His website link is in his signature.
If you have any further questions just message me and I'll be glad to help.

We just installed this bracket on a customers car... VERY nice piece but unless you are trying to make 1krwhp+ its not needed.
We made 940rwhp and 902 trq with the SDCE bracket before we switched. Its also 2k for just the bracket... You will have 8k+ in a procharger kit with that bracket.
