I recently bought this bike and unfortunately I just dont have the time for it between ridiculous overtime and a 4 year old. It pains me to sell it as Ive always wanted a clean S.
On to the details
Red 97 Suzuki TL1000S born in Feb. 97
996cc Fuel Injected VTwin
21,xxx miles
Ohlins rear shock
Airtech lower fairing
Aftermarket rearsets
Black shorty levers
GP shift reversible
Frame sliders
Michelin Pilot Powers in great shape
It is geared down a couple teeth with new chain and recent sprockets
Yosh bolt ons
LP tinted speedscreen
Just replaced the ignition switch as the old one went out
This is a very clean bike for the age... And well maintained by the previous owners. I am the third owner.. Second owner had it since 2000
The only problem it has is the start switch may have a short in it. Always starts just need to press the start button a little harder than normal. If thats a deal breaker Ill just order a new one and throw it on.. Probably $20-$30.
Bike has loads of low end torque ..plenty fast ..sounds incredible.... and tons of fun.
I have the stock pipes... Stock sprockets... Stock rearsets... Brand new brake pads front and rear..rear seat and cowl..owners manual etc
