Q1 notes

Tim Meagher and Mike Alwardt blew through the beams before the lights dropped so their runs did not register.
Kevin Volk has some nitrous issues at the line and drives off the track.
Phil Wagner came out to support X275 and sporting the new MT radials. Phil did not have time to drop in his nitrous bottle so just a N/A pass. 7.06@98
Bill Meserve blew the tires and but got back in it to run 5.82@139
Bill Zahaer in the V6 regal was working on his launch, managed a 6.29@120
Nick Boudreau still working on his tune up runs a 6.09@134
Jimmy Curtis first time running X275 gets down with a 5.46@127 with his small block and 1 kit
Ben Dahlgreen gets down the track and blazed to a 5.02@144 to set the tone. He also managed a perfect reaction time .000

Q2 notes

Mike Alwardt blows the tires alittle and gets back in it to run a 5.44 but unfortunately Mike was a little light on the scale and had to be dqued. I was looking forward to see with Mike would do with the new F1X. Look for him to come back and be a strong contender.

Kevin Volk came back after a nasty nitrous back fire, spins the tires, gets back in it to run 6.43@121

Phil Wagner got the nitrous bottle in and pulls the wheels on his first hit with the spray, he rockets to a 6.18@110, not bad for a 3500lb street driven car

Nick Boudreau did not get the traction he was looking for so he aborts his run.

Bill Zahaer threw alittle more boost at his launch and gets the big Regal down the track to run a 5.74@124

Jimmy Curtis threw alittle to much power to his tune up and spun the tires

Ben Dahlgreen did not improve on his previous run of 5.02.

Bill Meserve comes out with a new tune up, beats his previous track record of 4.95, by running a 4.94@145

Tim Meagher comes up next after Bill and finally gets the launch he was looking for and beats Bill's short lived record with a 4.93@149. He ends up winning the Dynamic Racing Transmissions $100 best ET with this pass.

Round 1

Tim Meagher vs Kevin Volk, Kevin who was struggling during qualifying ends up running into more problems, he had a slight small fire on the starting line and had to give the easy win to Meagher who blew the tires but managed to run 5.55@148

Jim Curtis vs Bill Zahaer, Jim is starting to get his launch down bolts to a 5.42@128 for the win, Bill has some trouble building boost and leaves the line alittle late. He has trouble getting off the line but runs 6.84@120

Bill Meserve vs Phil Wagner, Phil puts alittle more in the tune up and goes up up and away, scraps his oil pan alittle but manages to keep everything together. Bill Meserve is on a rail and backs up his previous pass by running a 4.94@146

Ben Dahlgreen vs Nick Boudreau, Nick gets his car to hold traction and runs his best pass of the day 5.37@135, but Ben chops the tree again with a .014 light and runs a 5.11@144 to take the win.

Semis

Tim Meagher vs Jim Curtis, Meagher has a transmission issue and instantly blows the tires, Curtis who has been as consistent as a bracket racer gets his best 60ft of the day with a 1.233 and wins the Dynamic Racing Transmission $50 best 60ft money, just edging out Bill Meserve who had a 1.234. Curtis runs a 5.41@127 to take the win.

Bill Meserve vs Ben Dahlgreen, this race is normally the final at X275 NED, so we were not used to seeing these 2 battle in the semi final round. Meserve knows Dahlgreen has alot left in his tank so Meserve stepped up alittle to get the edge, but it was too much for the cold track at NED. Meserve blew the tires and Dahlgreen cuts another great light with a .013 and takes the win with a 5.04@144

Final

Jim Curtis vs Ben Dahlgreen, Curtis who was considered an underdog with no previous X275 experience managed to get to the final running consistently all day. He unfornately went up on a wheel stand and had to back out giving the easy win to Dahlgreen who cuts a .020 light and runs his best pass of the day of 5.01@148

Congrats to Ben and Travis on their win
