Default Boosted!!! Vs N/A... **NEW Additional Vid**

I made this computer generated clip, of my T/A Vs a 240zx rb20 or something like that. 22lbs built turbo engine. I was told it made 360 whp and 380 Tq, with weight reduction.


We ran three times, and all three 30 rolls... The first two, i pulled away with no problem. Manual shifting from 1st 2nd and Drive.
The last run i launched from 2nd gear, to make it a lil more even. but my TA doesnt like 30 rolls from 2nd.

Either way, good runs. The guy is a great sport and was a lil surprise to see this small cam T/A in action.

Nice kill but "Manual shifting from 1st 2nd and Drive" makes absolutely zero sense to me.

Theres no point to hit 3rd... Im gone after 2nd is finished. So might aswell put it in drive and produce less stress on the trans. Make sence? to each his own. This works for me and aint going to change.

I call B.S. on his #'s 360hp 380trq, imports #"s are never that close. They are more like 350hp 120trq.

So you wold rather wait for the downshift!?

Op take off in the right gear and then simply put it in drive let the car do the shifting. You only chance hitting the limiter in each gear by holding it.

This is no ricer turbo car, it has taken a few rides down from higher rolls. 380 tq is exactly what he dynoed. Dont let it hurt that other cars make more Tq than our Lsx series rides. Good Tq # is not always there with our basics set ups.

Thats true, but I have lots of practice in my ride already. I can tell just by engine sound when its time to shift, but do pay attention to the rpm's.
rev limiter is at 6700, and thats where my power curve starts to drop... Shiftpoints are not in the right spot, shifts at 6400 if not done manually. But thats a whole other story, for now lets just concentrate on the Race.

Here is a handicap race vs the same car... 30 roll, Me from second gear instead of first to even it out.

Big mistake! That car is fast, and will kick you in the nutts if you let it.

I really hate brand, model and make whoring... I respect anyone who is up to par for a good race.

When stockish, i use to get whooped by eveyone. Now its a lil different.

Yeah I dont know **** about boosted imports because I dont care about them. its not worth me wasting my time learning about them. I have only lost to 4 imports. Fully built k24 on a 100 shot and guted, some black boosted honda, I dont remember exacly the #'s but they were high 300's, and some green boosted honda making 450hp gutted out. oh and one respectable sti wrx, It was a close race. I only lost by a car. I have race a **** load of turboed imports and I'm never impressed. When I have ask them what kind of number did they make the trq was always low. I also get the same excuse why they lost Boost leaks. not trying to tread jack but here one vid from a long time ago
