I have a 2000+ one and its black.
The one I need is more of a grey, which is why I want to recolor it

SEM site says 15303. I just used a surface prep spray and have had outstanding results. I did my dash, dash cover, and several other pieces when I converted from graphite to ebony. I bought a bunch of ebony parts from a friend's wreck, and have even sprayed some of those due to scuffs. I am 100% sold on SEM after being very skeptical to try it. I use the satin clear coat to reduce gloss and protect the finish. Nothing but good things to say about my experience. I even successfully dyed the trunk flap piece, so it is not just for plastic and vinyl. Don't expect the color to match perfectly, even the stock GM parts vary, just look at your upper and lower console parts.

15303 (Graphite) is a little too light/not enough blue to the grey. If you've coated most parts, it matches well. If you're trying to do a one off or small piece, it will look different.

But... 15303 is the closest they have. Boltasoft had some vinyl in their Sierra line that was a 95% match (color, shine, color shift with different light), but it's been discontinued. I've got some different samples on order to try and find an alternative.

I have used Bulldog on some other parts with standard spray paint, but never felt a need for it with SEM dye.

i didnt have any problems at all on the actual dash but it seems like that plastic holds that oil and grease alot better
