Vehicle Classifieds - 02 Z28 m6 w/58k miles, 12's @ 113.5, Arctic White, Cold A/C

I have a white 02 Z28 with 58k miles. The good, cold A/C, the car runs great, shifts nice and gets great gas mileage on the highway (31.25 MPG best measured). The bad, it has a rebuilt title and has some body damage on rear quarter and passenger rear quarter has a little rust in wheel well lip as well as near the door. The car has ran 12.83 @ 113.5 w/2.10 60ft on crappy radial tires. I drive this car everyday, in Chicago traffic, everywhere.

I was quoted by one guy $350 to fix and paint the driver side and $500 for both sides.

2" Kook's
4" Single Exhaust out back
Fast 90/90 Fast Setup
BMR Tubular lca's (non-adjustable)
FTRA
LS1 Engine/59k
T56 Trans/59k (assuming stock clutch, never checked, doesn't slip)
Poly Engine Mounts
Poly Trans Mount
Stock 3.42 10 bolt

Has entire interior and all lenses are in great condition.

I'm only selling as I bought a roller and am building a turbo car. I will be parting this car out if there isn't any interest.

Not to be off topic, but thats interesting that the car responded well to 2" headers and a big intake on a stock motor. Goes against everything on this board huh? lol. What did this car dyno/race weight? GL with sale, im going to keep my eye on this.

Yea, it is interesting lol. I did a bunch of research before I did. I have never dyno's or scaled it, but it is pretty much full weight, subwoofer, multiple amps, still has front and rear crash supports etc. I've only had it to the track twice. Once before the intake/exhaust and once after. Before those, it went 13.21 @ 107.xx I believe and then went 12.83 @ 113.5 after. It pulls pretty hard and I wish I had a stalled auto in there to go 11's stock internals. I figure that it dropping .5-.6 tenths off my 60 foot would definitely get me there :drive:

Thats basically an increase of 60 RWHP. Not bad! Like i said i will keep my eye on this, although shipping would be expensive. They only quoted you 500 to fix all that damage?

Yea, I was a bit surprised too. I was going to do it, but I just couldn't justify it since I was planning on parting it out. I just threw it up here just in case this was what someone was looking for. Hate to do it, especially to a hardtop car, but what are you going to do lol.

The problem is finding a buyer but a few guys loved it so much they would of bought it on the spot, gotta see if i can work that out! GL w/ the sale and ill keep this car in mind if i end up selling.

This accident happened the first icy day of this winter near Chicago. I was on 294 heading to work and a guy came across a couple lanes and I hit my breaks hard to avoid hitting him. He still may have nudged my front bumper, but my car did a 180. I tried to keep it off the wall, but it hit it slightly backwards. So, this is the end result unfortunately. The guy kept going and I didn't chase. Blah.

I will let you know if it get's parted out. The old ls6 was part of the trade for the Fast setup, so I no longer have it around.
