I used Dorman fuel hose front to back. My local NHRA track let me use it when they saw the specs. With alcohol resistance and 800 psi burst strength, it's probably better than than the braided aftermarket stuff.

My logic was fewer connections, it's ability to resist ethanol and the ability to inspect the hose with out it being covered by metal braid. I think the metal braid would be better to resist a puncture from the outside, by a foreign object, but that's about the only advantage. If the line deteriorates, there is no way to tell if it covered by the braid. This fuel hose is braided on the interior, like a tire. By the way, it's not cheap. But it is easy. I happened to get very lucky on a spool purchase.

Also I had so much left over, that I used some for transmission cooling line. It far exceeds those specs.
