Well I took the time this weekend to meet up with a few friends and install the Rocker arms, push rods and springs. All in all everything went well. Especially considering I have never done anything like this. Fortunately my boy Dblaron has worked on a few different motors and he was all in.
Removed the coil packs and Valve covers

Used a $10 tool for an air compressor that plugs into the spark plug hole to hold the valve up, so we could use a spring compressor tool to remove the stock springs. Used magnets to catch the keepers. Popped the new ones on and reversed the process

pulled the old push rods and popped in the new ones.

After once all the springs and pushrods were replaced we started putting on the new rocker arms.

This side was all finished up. You can see the home depot orange rubber mallet we used to tap the springs to make sure every thing was centered and good to go

We turned the crank bolt over a couple turns and checked the pushrods and rockers again to make sure everything was good to go. Started her up and heard a funky tapping sound coming from the driver side valve cover. You could feel it tapping and new it a rocker contacting the valve cover. Pulled it apart and you could see a small mark on the tip of the rocker...

You could see where it was hitting on the valve cover. For some reason there was this bump in the casting that was not machined down. The other three were clearly cut down, but it is like they forgot to do that one.

Nothing a little grinding couldn't fix. Just shaved a little bit off, cleaned her up and bolted her back together. Started her up and it was all good.

Car feels great. Pulls really well in the what used to be the dead spots. If Pat G can gain 13rwhp on his stock manifold G8 with no additional tuning, I'm sure I picked up a nice little bump considering I have LT's, and a Ported intake manifold. The throttle response and pull up top is excellent.
