Which is better solid or poly for my transmisson mount

A solid trans mount can break your tail housing. Poly mount should be fine

If you are not a hardcore track guy, i'd go with the stock GM onebrand new on Amazon for like 50 bucks.
Took away a lot of my interior vibrations.
However if your car is a strict track car, seems that most people i know have luck with poly.

Poly at the very most. I have solid motor mounts and run a factory rubber transmission mount on my stocker.

Only way a solid one is even a viable option is if the car is motor plated and mid plated... and the transmission has an aftermarket case so it's built to handle that.
Ploy will suit you fine... no need to go any further.
