Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - Hp Mod ideas?

i got 2009 G8 Gt looking to get more horsepower out of it? only mod right now is straightpipes with 4'' tips,

Looking into installing a stage 3Cam and dod delete?

looking for ideas to achieve more power?

would a stock motor withstand a stage 3cam or would have to change heads,pistons etc.... any help on hp ideas would be appreciated

The stages now days reminds me of the 3/4 race cams people used to say they had.

I wouldn't run a cam without headers and a tune. A CAI would be good to have too. You'll also need matching valve springs and hardened pushrods to go with that cam.

I picked up 20whp with just Rotofab CAI & Tune.

Stage 3 cam lmfao! Sounds like somebody was playing Forza or something and has no idea what they're really talking about.

Cold air intake, headers, exhaust, torque converter and a tune. That's where I would start.

If you want more, then heads and cam.

If that's not good enough, then supercharge it

Man up and get full exhaust, a custom grind cam, stall converter and a intake then put it on a dyno.

There is no point in getting the stage 3 cam until you have at least stage 2 intake and stage 2 exhaust. but i would likely invest in the weight reduction category first.

I with these guys, not sure what a stage 3 cam means...
