Default Holly High Rise LS1 Intake vs Fast 102???

As the title states....which one will perform better on a...

383 LS1
Afr 205 heads
comp cam 239/247 590 to 600 lift Not 100% on the cam specs
11.0-11.5 compression
pump gas
1-7/8" headers

also looking to change the heads out to something in the 230cc range....maybe AFR 230's or PRC 227's.....

What would be the best combo "you" would build?

I think the Holly is like a tunnel ram and would feed your motor better at high RPM. The fast will be better down low for street applications I would think and you won't have clearance problems.

Never had the Holley, but I absolutely love my Edelbrock proflo xt... Seems to do several things, give more top end, while broadening the entire powerband and smooths out the idle some on a bigger cam...I'd also ditch the MAF and run in SD mode.

On my 04 GTO the Edelbrock sat just over an inch and a half out of the hood, but I think the Holley is a hair shorter

The true measurement I took on mine was 10.75" st the top of the tb mount to the lowest part of the intake flanges.....I thought I had read the Holley was just over 9" tall, but that might have been with the top plate unbolted.....lol i never been wrong before!

A 383 has a 3.9 bore. The larger AFR heads do better on 4.0 and larger bore cylinders. This a N/A motor with a hydraulic roller cam street car, so I would stick with the FAST intake, for better throttle response and a broader powerband.
