LS4 Performance - Custom grilles hope you guys like

well since i really hate the honeycomb shit, and i dont like the mesh grilles on ebay i figured id do my own. pretty straight forward any questions let me know

damn! thats freakin awesome!!!!! got any further shots? like one of the whole car or whole front end? angle shot? i think i might just go and get some materials right now! IMHO, those are by far the best grills for the GXP! lower grills?

Thanks alot guys thanks for the comments im currently trying to engineer the lower grille as we speak so stay tuned im kinda thinking I shouldve went with white paint...

i think flat black was a good choice as its the stock colour, but it actually has killer looks for being black, white would look good as well, all that really matters is the opinion of the owner ;)

Thinkin whote because of the radiator support visible through the grill buttttttt im with you on the black i think ultimatley it looks better plus i think it will look good when i get the black wheels...im currently figuring out my lower piece and will have pics up tonight or tommorow
hers the pic you wanted mr.angrygxp oh and btw the grills are coated in plastidip spray 3 coats worth on both sides of the grill and mesh. regular spray paint wouldnt stick to the metal even when sanded down.

lol sweet, thanks :) looks good! and i was thinking it was plastidip but wasn't 100% sure, thanks for the tip though! i'll keep that in mind when i do mine

you could spray the rad support flat black as well to hide it more... and same with the surrounding that will show with the lower section around the fog lights...

i like the thought of the smaller pattern too, gives you a little more air flow

Trust me i was going to the exact same but tryin to work this grille section was a little more than challenging after you cut the honneycomb section out its very very flimsy which is i left the stock sections in place. not to mention my schedule is real screwed up with school and work so i just wanted it done for now im ordering another piece on the first and will redo it though and it will be on the backside but i will use fiberglass to re-enforce it a little

oh okay, well i look forward to the finished product :cool: so far, so good :)

welp finally got around to finishing the bottom piece painted and all cant really see a diffrence with this shitty weather the car will look so much better when i get around to gettin my wheels powdercoated black

thanks man you dont know how long i sat there looking at this flimsy grill and how to get this mesh seated properly now to see if it stands up too the mighty automated car wash lol let me know if you need any help along the way
