Getting a million different answers on the subject with searches and would like a more difinitive answer if possible.
I ordered a set of 72cc 230 Afr heads for my ls2 (a lower compression blower set up) I am wondering about using the stock rockers with a stock cam and the use of bronze valve guides on the AFR heads. Is guide wear only a problem with higher lift cams; bronze guides and stock rockers?
I was planning on doing a trunion upgrade; but have also heard mixed reviews on that also.
If I went with roller rockers my plan was Yella Terras.
Of course stockers are cheaper; but I don't want to save a buck for dependability.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Nothing? Where are the people in the know?
I know it's been brought up before' but the answers aren't very cut and dry.

Shoot Tony Mamo@AFR a PM on here. Theres no better source for infor, then the man himself!

He set my stock rockers up on my 205s for me. I just dont remember which guides are in them.

He was mentioned in another thread I made before. I will give him a message.
Thanks.

If the lift is over .600" you want RRs, under that stock rockers are fine.

Yeah when i decide to do a cam it will be for a blower so it will never be high lift.
I wasn't sure if bronze valve guides would be a factor with stock rockers.
From what I gather AFR heads share stock geometry; so I was assumming it would be fine to run the stockers without worring about premature guide wear.
Just want to be 100% sure.
