Hey guys, i put my 6.0 harmonic balancer on last night and its not lined up with the alternator so my Question is do i need one for the 5.7 to work with my accessories

Yes. Pulleys all have to line up. From what I know even a corvette or GTO water pump wnt line up with acc. In a Fbody... You have to swap pulley

Why not go with the stock LS1? Give time more ppl will post.

The f body and GTO balancers are the same, trucks and vettes are different.
