Thinking about doing this as a setup 2.5 ls6 heads from
Texasspeed and there ms3 cam, then a fast 102 and a nw
102tb. The car is not going to be a dd and my goal is to
Around 450 to the wheels its a m6 car to

450 would be on the high end to expect from this id say. but with a 6 speed car it may be close to reachable

I didn't see anything about long tube headers (or a CAI). They'd be necessary to have a chance at that 450. After that plan on a clutch at minimum to hold the power. Stubs, axles and drive shaft would also be on my short list.

no matter what you go with DD or not id still want it to be streetable.

but theres a lot of interpretations of what that is. what gears will it have?

The GMM won't add any horse power but it will make sure you get the right gear when you need it. Some of the best money I spent on my car.

I know the gmm won't do anything for hp I just
Want a better shifter.
Right now it has stock gears, I do want it streetable
My budget is around 7000 and my goal is 450

shit with 7k thats possible but i would look into some better heads and have a custom cam to match your set up look at some mast heads

I've spent almost double that to make the car solid and reliable as well and maybe I'm near mid 400s. If I'd spent more on heads I could have made more HP but wouldn't have the drive train (clutch, GMM, drive shaft, axle stubs, wider wheels, 3.91 gears) and full suspension.

I have TSP 2.5, comp cams v3, kooks 1 7/8, K&N cold air on my stock '06 M6 GTO. I make 430 at the rear.

You'll definitely make 450 hp with that outlined setup in a M6, assuming your tuner is good.

If you dont make that fire your tuner.

That's after my next deployment, so I can also do a built bottom end

If you plan on boosting later, you should definitely factor that into your current build. For example, shooting for 450+rwhp now (naturally aspirated) will require a cam that probably wouldn't pair well with FI later. Do you plan on starting over with a new build when you go FI?

Very true, both your choice on heads (compression)and cam need to be made with FI in mind later or you will be rebuying parts.

tick polluter cam gets good reviews. its the cam that will be in my car as soon as i get all the supporting mods.

Yes I plan on building a 6.0 for FI, my uncle is pretty good at doing custom turbo kits so I plan on having him make a twin turbo kit. This will be in about 2 years or so.

Nitrous is easy enough, I made 550 stock bottom end, stock heads, stock intake. only mods were cam, cold air, headers, and bolt on junk. Maybe 2K invested trans and rear end still holding strong 133,000 miles.
