We just received dyno results and this note from Barry at Jerry's Chevrolet Corvette Center in South Dakota. They installed the Radically Ported Intake Manifold and Ported Throttle Body from Peak Speed Shop and are thrilled with the results. We love getting the before/after dyno reports from shops like this because they reflect non-biased results of our work. Take a look.....

Bob,

It’s been awhile since we spoke but I wanted to share with you the results of the installation of your radically ported LS7 Intake and Throttle Body. Attached is a dyno sheet showing before and after results of installing your radically ported intake and ported throttle body. I want to tell you that this car is a 2009 Corvette Z06 with long tube headers, a performance air filter, performance camshaft and OEM mufflers – It has been dyno tuned before the installation of your parts. It is running 92 octane pump gasoline. The before and after results show only the addition of your parts – we didn’t do any tuning to influence the results. The gains were very similar to your estimates. Peak power rose 15.74HP and peak torque went up 10.67 ft/ lbs at the rear wheels. What is more impressive than the peak numbers is the fact that the power gains were much larger in the lower RPM range. Take a look at the graph at 3500 RPM – before the ported intake and throttle body the power levels dipped a bit as the cam “started to come into its own”. With the ported intake and throttle body installed the power levels do not dip at all and gain close to 30 ft/ lbs of torque and 20 HP at the rear wheels! To say the least I am very impressed by your products and service.

Thank you.

Which LS7 intake was this? They have 2 versions. 25534413 or the 19244033.

It is neither of those. This is the stock LS7 intake manifold and throttle body. Not an after market one. The stock intake manifold is radically ported at peak speed shop. You can find out more about our radical porting at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/.

Can you re-post the dyno graph? Either I'm color blind, or my computer sucks...I see scales, but the graph is blank. I believe the gains, I just can't see the chart lol.

Not sure why you can't see the colors. Here is the link to our website: http://www.peakspeedshop.com/. You can also see it posted under the "Dynos" selection on the menu. Hope that works for you.

Blue line is the "after" run. It's a gain.

I think what he is getting at is the first pull made more power than the second pull. The file #s are backwards unless you ran the ported intake first and then ran a stock intake on the second pull.

I see what you're getting at. It looks that way, but the files are two different file type extensions. On this graph, the second pull was File_001.dlf while the first pull was File_002.drf.

looks like it isn't making any power or torque under 2500. Do they have to push start this vette?
