General Maintenance & Repairs - 99 T/A surges when put in gear

I tried many searchs and have had no luck so decide to start a thread. I own a 99 T/A. When you start the car up it runs fine, the minute you put it in gear it wants to surge, ( Engine wants to die) if you dont touch the gas and let it roll a little and give it gas it seems to run fine. Every time you stop it does the same thing. Any ideas? Its got good vacum, tried swapping out the maf, injectors all look good, Don't know where too start?

Look at you Idle Air Control Valve maybe no working or dirty, you can pop it out and clean the plunger and re install see if it gets any better or replace.

I had the same issue and i swapped my IAC out and that fixed the issue.

I'll ive that a try. Where's is it located?

It's on the bottom of the throttle body. Should have 2 electrical connections on the bottom/side of the tb. One is the TPS, the other should be the IAC.
