Default EPS vs Pat G cams

I was wanting to have a cam specd up for my new build. I'm not sure if i want a eps cam or a pat g cam. I've heard good from both. Just wondering what your guys opinions would be between them.

Pat g uses eps lobes and Geoff at eps will use pat g to help spec cams.

Have Pat G spec it, and EPS(comp cams) grind it.

EPS designed their own proprietary lobe that's offered in x number of sizes and can be ground on any combination of those specs (comp cams grinds them). Pat G just specs cams for people as a side job (he owns a marketing firm) and he can use EPS lobes or anyone else's. Both are great sources.

It's worth noting that Geoff came up with some of Thunder Racing's most popular grinds years ago and now works for himself.

I got a Pat G spec'd cam from EPS. Its a decent sized cam (227/230) and makes 411/391. I wasnt after peak numbers on this setup, but it makes 360 ft/lbs at 3k.
