Default stock Exhaust?

I have a 1994 trans am lt1 I have intake, headers w/ 3 inch toff road y pipe connected to the stock EXHAUST. Is that ok running that setup or just take the stock exhaust off and run from the ypipe on?

Just put a cut out in the I pipe before it goes over the axle and open it up when you want some noise or a little bump in power. Don't run open Y all the time, it sounds like poop and gets annoying real quick. Or just run it as it is and save for a catback.

You'll probably enjoy the cutout the most, quiet when needed loud when you want it.

Bet it sounds nice, more so if you have long tubes. You could save some coin and just go w/ a different muffer. On a stock car I really dont see a power increase between 2.75 pipe and 3in.
