A friend of mine popped his hood and showed me after draining the clutch fluid, not sure what it is but a thick black oily like substance comes from the black hose at the bottom.Even after draining it 3 times one after another as he pours the fluid in the black oily substance stars to ooze out.Why does it do this an would it have anything with him not being able to go into gears properly?

Look like the seal inside the master cylinder or slave cylinder inside the trans is deteriorating. I would flush the system. Open the bleed valve and let it gravity bleed... Might be better to take it to a shop and have it power bleed.

Def drain, refill and bleed the system. Could be all the above or a whole lot of moisture in the system.

Its is just dirty brake fluid coming up. Brake fluid is hydroscopic which means it absorbs moisture. When you pour clean fluid in there gravity makes the less dense water saturated fluid rise to the top of the reservoir. Flush the shit out of it with alcohol or another approved flush chemical and your good.

Yeah, it's alrady been said, but drain it from the bottom. A 1/4" ratchet and a 10mm I think it was will get at that drain valve on the side of the bellhousing.
There might even be a write-up on LS1howto.com on doing this.
