In two weeks I am going to have my door pannel cracs fixed via the tie wrap method. Should I buy a couple of window stoppers just in case for the infamus door rattle? I am not doing it myself so I need to do it in one shot. Is there a way to check w/o the pannel off or should I buy 2?? Thank Brian.

If you roll the window all the way down you can see if it is broken. I think they are discontinued from GM so if you can find a few extra window stoppers or guides you might want to get them just in case. I found mine on ebay for $15.

There is usually a black felt pad that breaks or falls off. If you can't see the felt piece than the glass is rubbing against metal and that causes the rattle.

UMI is the brand of subframe connectors I have. They are tubular bolt-ons and they help tighten up the suspension.
