Okay guys need some help..... My OBD 2 port isn't working along with my rear hatch button under my steering wheel or on my keys.

I have tried switching out the cig/accy fuse and doesnt do anything....

Does anyone have any idea of what is wrong cause i'm lost.

Thanks

There are two fuses involved in the hatch release - the PWR ACCY fuse (#7) powers the actual release mechanism while the COURTESY (#8) fuse powers the BCM which handles control of the release (dash button and key fob).

Do you think since my OBD port doesnt work the bcm could be bad?

Check the fuses first before worrying about possible bigger problems.

Have you made any electrical changes recently? Installed a new stereo? Bypassed VATS? Installed gauges or an alarm system?

what is the vats?

I have the guages that has been in the car for almost 2 years.

I did a battery relocation and a line lock system.

The system i have has been in for almost 2 years aswell.

I checked all fuses and there all good.... I wondering if i could have arched a wire and have a bad wire some where?
