Looking for some good twisties in Washington. I know there have to be some good roas out there with good scenery and not much in the way of police.

I'll be returning from Afghanistan in about a month and have alot of suspension parts waiting for me to go on the Trans Am. To me there is nothign more relaxing than a nice cruise, rain or shine!

If anybody knows of some good routes post them up. Northern Oregon is fine too!

Drive up highway 2 pass over the mountains, lots of nice turns and corners. Also great scenery.

The road from Cougar to Carson is nice and twisty. Popular with the sportbike guys.

Out on the peninsula there are some good ones. I lived out in Shelton for a while and near hood canal or pretty much anywhere near the national rain forest has some great driving and scenery. Plus its really easy to get to from Ft. Lewis, just get on 16 and go West.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys/gals.

I actually found an awesome book that lists the top 150 or so driving roads in washington state. The book is like &60, but they show all of the roads on the website as well. They rank them by length, turns, remoteness, pavement condition, etc. Really an awesome site.

its called detinationhighways.com

They went from Nor-Cal to Washington to BC but skipped Oregon hahaha :)
Maybe our roads are crap, or too many cops, or the speed limit is too slow...or all three?

I did a cruise taking i think HW101 around the Olympic Peninsula. There was alot of twisties and really nice scenic views out there. I remember the most twisty part going through a wooded area and some SHO tried to take off on me(of course I didn't allow that lol). Thats pretty much a day long cruise stopping off at various places to check shit out. If thats too long there is quite a few roads around Rainier.
