The cars were:
2012 GTR had some JOTECH stage package done (not sure which one and what exactly is all done to it) and guy said he was running on low boost.
2009 GTR had Intake/mid pipe/catback
Supra was just a basic power upgrades with the stock turbos
and my C5Z with the usual CAI and full exhaust

The gtrs waxed him just like they should a intake exhaust tune c5z.....
Many and most vidz of z06s and vipers arent driven anywhere near their potential.
His car may be only capable of a 120 trap but dammit if he dosent fufill the cars potential in every single race

Go to his youtube and watch the vid.. zyborg vs world.. He wax's 2 02 cam only c5z's.. a bolt on c6 by buses, 06 viper .. and a few pulleyed,kb,whippled cobra's... I call bs on mods stated.. In my area all the c5z's with bolt on's be lucky to make a high 12 sec pass... and trap 110-114.. I trapped a 12.32 @115 near stock at the same track with a 2sec 60ft.. so I doubt the track prep isn't the issue... and c5z is suppose to edge the ls2 c6 with bolt ons

A stock C5 Z should be faster than you stock to stock.
Out here a well driven stock one runs low 12s and traps 117MPH. One like Zyborg should run low 120s easy. If you watch his vids he usually gets a nice kick by his erratic beeps. Plus the street has too many variables to gauge performance. Zyborg may have a cool motor,low gas level etc....

I kno a c5z bolt on should edge a ls2 c6 bolt on but it's mainly a driver's race to them.. The way he walked that c6 looked like he had 50 rwhp more then him.. how he pulled on those cam only c5z seemed like he trapped 2-3mph more.. could I be wrong about this?

that means that cammed c5z would lose to local ones in my area that are bone stock with half way decent drivers...ive personally seen 2 friends of mine in stock c5z's trap consistant 115-116. So to cam it and bolt on it... and only run 114mph...he must be skipping gears going down the track, thats roughly 60-70 more hp.

That's good, being jealous is not a good trait. Yes or no about the question, who knows for sure. And honestly probably not many of us really care if ZYBORG's mods are b.s. or not.

In the end you run what you brung and hope you have enough especially when it comes to racing. Wether he is bolt ons or not doesnt really matter much in the sense that he wins alot of the races and in the end thats what counts. Its his buisness to say what he has done to his car or not. Most of the times ive raced someone on the street i had no idea what mods they had so if i lost i lost. Is it nice to know what mods somoene specifically has, sure no doubt. So seeing these vids we can tell if you got a bolt on C5Z chances are your not gonna win, stock GTR your not gonna win, 300SRT8 with a couple of bolt ons( Me ) your not gonna win, lol. The only way to beat Zyborg is to slash his tires, hehe JK.

I watched a stock one run high 13's all day last Saturday. A c/h one run best of 11.7@119 with da of 3600. Car is strong as well it was built by lethal.

same... the numbers dont show the actual difference of the cars. My buddies cammed/fast/exhaust ls2 GTO made 430whp on the same dyno i made 396whp stock on. He pulled around half a car on a stock ls3 vette (stick car). Close race. Both guys rowing the gears fairly well. I pulled the GTO HARRRDD. One of our races was from 20 - 110. I started in second to avoid tire spin, he started in first. We both hooked the whole time. He tells everyone i had around 6 cars on him... i think hes being generous... but a good 3-4 cars is what i would say. I literally pull away from him all the way to 160 where im done with my 1:1 gear.
Yes thats all bench racing i know... but i honestly think me and zyborg would be a great race. I say we can both drive our cars to there full potential. Unfortunately.... we will never be able to run :(

I also think me and you would be a great race too. Im trying to find some local modded vettes to play with but Im not having any luck. Only friend that has one has a c5 with arh headers, vararam, tune, catback. He lost to that GTO i mentioned

Knowing how to drive changes everything, even in a roll race. You would be shocked to know how many people use the wrong gear from slower roll speeds. I had a guy run me in 4th and I was starting in 2nd.... We should have been close but he lost pretty bad several times. I couldn't figure out why until we talked afterwards.

Define healthy? As in ranger trapping 128? Absolutely not. An average one driven by an average guy. Yes. Put it this way. If i could somehow drive both cars at the sametime... a stock c6 z06 will pull my boss. We make right around the same hp. They have 250-300lbs advantage on me but i have the massive gearing advantage, while at the same time they have the midrange torque advantage. I also dont care about crushing synchros or poppings transmissions. Bad driving gives fast cars bad names. A full bolt on c6 z is a different story. That would suck me up even with an average driver...
and i prob wont be in IL anytime soon lol

The C6Z06 is just nasty fast. It against a 5.0 even the boss it will easily pull. Nothing taken from the 5.0. I had full bolt camaro 350rwhp+75 and then 100 shot dry and got yanked with the C6Z06 starting in the wrong gear. No excuses for me, perfect a/f, very good shifts and i started in the right gear. I couldnt have done anything better to make it a better race. Even in the end if i would've ran it with a 150 wet shot which i ran i would've still gotten pulled by one slowly. They just pull hard and had the chance to drive several of them its amazing how much power they make.

Agreed, LS3 even full bolt ons gets pulled by a Z06 fairly easily, would need a cam to pull on a Z06. Im sure Boss and 5.0 owners know this and its just a what if question or curious.

Only one around here i know of is owned by an older guy. Has full exhaust, ported intake, air intake, tune. Made 507whp... yea im all set embarrassing myself lol. And im still prowling for that friendly neighborhood zl1

I would'nt think a boss would run with a bolt-on ls3 vette. They can run well into the 120's fairly easily.

Mine will run right with a C6Z, with me driving. I would get slowly walked by a bolton C6Z (intake, headers, exhaust, dyno tuned). And I know from experience a regular 5.0 is no where near a close race.

I yanked a cam, bolt on, 150 shot Grad sport M6. He was pretty mad but gave me my props. He is on a 200 shot after rebuild now. We will run again. But I make almost 100whp more then the first race. I have yet to run a stock or modded Z06. Tried but he wouldn't run. he came flying up getting beside all t he other mustangs. Once He got over I came around got beside him and dropped to 3rd gear at 75. Romped on it and he wuldn't play. It was a stock c6Z06

ohio... I'm assuming the grand sport is making over 500 rwhp n/a if it's a some what a decent build. A cammed ls3 is nasty. added the 150shot and you still beat him... was it his first time racing? I only raced 1 c6z was an 06... got him less than a car by 130mph.. and that was when I only had a base tune after my h/c on my ls2... Now since I got a tune,gears, lighter/stronger clutch I want to re-run him.. I really don't see you walking a well driven cam n2o ls3.. That should be a low-mid 10 sec 132+ trapping car... ls1 tech member Burrhos with his cam only ls3 c6 making 513rwhp stock clutch,diff ran a 10.67@129mph...Your doing a little better than that with 620whp..

Ive also raced a stock ls3 stick vette on the highway and gave it a beating. I also raced my buddys a4 h/c c5 vette. He took the hit on me and i was chasing him pretty quick but he let out. That car went 11.2 at 120. Ive also given my buddies stock boss an absolute beating and he gave a modded 5.0 a beating.
I think way too many people just think that a boss is just a road course version of the 5.0. Its not. Its in fact much stronger in a straight line. Local guy to me has a full bolt on 5.0 (long tubes, offroad x, 3 inch catback, boss intake, air intake, tune) and made 405whp the dyno i use. I made 396whp stock. Ive beaten a lot of respectable cars and lost by a very close margin to some respectable cars. Ive never come out of any of my races hanging my head because i was raped by the car i raced. But it seems that being this is a chevy site, its hopeless in trying to get a little credit. Everyone on here even stated "i thought you were going to lose the gt500 by a lot more then that". But either way...it is what it is. I drive a busted ass ford. I lose

BTW, a C6 Z will walk you all things equal.

he was right at 570whp with the 150 shot. Mild cam and bolt on. I was making a little more then 620whp when raced him as i had just put the aluminum driveshaft on and off road x pipe maybe a little closer to 640. He mentioned his bottle pressure was only at 850 so that could have been his issue.
with one you one mentioned that is good. I also haved trapped as high as 132mph while going 10.6's and launched only at 1800rpms and not off the convertor. I needed better tires then to launh off it. Now with new power making 713whp I can't even launch off idle with out it getting sideways. The MT DR's are almost wore out and I am going to try a Hoosier DR as some buddies making as much and more power as me have great results with them.

AHHH are you butt hurt your little 5.0 isn't as fast as mine. Don't worry belong I will have your Super Built SS covered. Will be ordering a built engine and going to least 20lbs of boost. Already making 713whp on only 11.5-12lbs another 8-9 lbs will handle the SS for you.

I've personally seen that Camaro go 15X traps spinning. You're sure going to need a lot more than you've got now.

Ive beaten a lot of respectable cars and lost by a very close margin to some respectable cars. Ive never come out of any of my races hanging my head because i was raped by the car i raced. But it seems that being this is a chevy site, its hopeless in trying to get a little credit. Everyone on here even stated "i thought you were going to lose the gt500 by a lot more then that". If he only made 405whp with full bolt ons he better get a new tune or something is wrong with his car. He should make least 430whp on a bad dyno. I know me and my buddies full bolt on manuals both made 450whp+ on the same dyno. Both custom tunes only diff was he had shorty headers I had long tubes. I ended up putting down 464 with some more tweaking to t he car. It ran best of 11.4@119 in 87* weather.

Respectable ET? 4 mods and went 10.60@130 is doing pretty good. Figuring that was stock suspesnion, stock headers, stock tranny minus stall, full weight of about 3900lbs with me in it at 2600 DA. Slap a $3500 sc, off road x pipe,intake and go mid 10's with less then 500 miles on the car. Yep pretty good. I am waiting on you to get something that will out run me. Till then you have no room to say shit but I am faster.

I've personally seen that Camaro go 15X traps spinning. You're sure going to need a lot more than you've got now.
AND? I guess no one else can mod to that point he is at? I just added 100whp in less then a month. Still stock engine. Now have to make it hook. Already trapped 3 mph higher then best of 131 with it spinning with a sorry 1.8 60ft.

Your bolt-on car was a bit of a dyno queen. 464whp and 6k+ clutch dumps should do way better than 11.4 @ 119

When my viper was stockish with just an air intake at 457 rwhp and 490 rwt at 3390 pounds I raced a stock 455 rwhp z06 probally 50 times or more.
Sure from a dead stop to 125 mph I could beat it everytime simply because I was the better driver by far.
But from literally any roll speed to 140 mph that stock z06 would put two legnths on me every single time.
Basically you have no idea what your focken with.
Recently I was a passenger in a 570 hp lp570 superlegerra gallardo. 130 mph and 11.1 with 0-60 in 3.1 bone stock.
Another buddies stock z06 challanged us and ill be damned if the z06 wasnt only a car back at 120 mph. Z06 was solo while two of us in the lambo but nevertheless gotdamn!

he was right at 570whp with the 150 shot. Mild cam and bolt on. I was making a little more then 620whp when raced him as i had just put the aluminum driveshaft on and off road x pipe maybe a little closer to 640. He mentioned his bottle pressure was only at 850 so that could have been his issue.
with one you one mentioned that is good. I also haved trapped as high as 132mph while going 10.6's and launched only at 1800rpms and not off the convertor. I needed better tires then to launh off it. Now with new power making 713whp I can't even launch off idle with out it getting sideways. The MT DR's are almost wore out and I am going to try a Hoosier DR as some buddies making as much and more power as me have great results with them.

Says the Guy with a swapped engine who gets to run in great da...11.4@119 in roughly 2600 da is pretty good. Specially still weighing 3650lbs with driver.

Nope it has a cam and bolt ons with the spray. And that is what he said makes for power. Not sure how his shot is rated either. Wheel or crank HP. I will get a video of it and get it on video if we run again. He just took to drag strip for first time. Heavy chrome 20" rims and all. His best was 12.4@127 with a shitty 2.3 60ft. Street tires as well.

theres nothing wrong with his tune. His car mphs right around 119mph. So im doubting there is a 60whp different between yours and his.

405 is lowest for a full bolt on 5.0..and what kind of da he run in? Temp etc. My manual trapped as good as 122 for me just not at 11.5 but 11.5. Which even then there is a bunch of full bolt ons that run closer to you at tracks up north that run lower 11's or 10's and all trap 120-125. They don't have to worry about running in 100* weather.also I think the 4.10's hurt my manual. Had me going threw traps in 5th gear at only 6000 rpms.

Agree dynos vary. And I have seen plenty full bolt ons make 430-460whp. As said a lot depends on dyno. Also tune. Most are doing email tunes. Not dyno tunes maxing everything out. My tune was very extreme. 26* timing a/f of 12.8-12.9.

Oh well his numbers are really weak either way. Bolt on only LS3 can make 420-430whp so only making 570whp with a 150 shot camd/bolt on is extremely low I mean unless the dyno he used is a very low reading dyno

Yep...the difference between me and you is my shit is'nt under performing. .....You walked right into that. That da your talking about would be worth .2 at most from perfect. The tracks I run at don't see perfect that often. When I went 11.1@126 the da was in the 700 range. That only leaving 1900 for you to whine about and still don't explain why you went 7mph slower with 40hp more....well not really you but the shop runnin your car.

all i said was i think me and zyborg would be a decent race. Both our cars seem to run a bit stronger then the average mod for mod and we can both drive them. As far as c6 z06s... i dont mind losing to them considering they out run most 250k cars as well.. so its all good in love and war :). Ill just suck one up when i have my 10psi and extra 250hp ;)

Its always tough to say online. I dont think he has anything hidden. I figure he makes about 390whp and with a light car and some good driving that can beat a lot of things out there. I saw a vid on here of a full bolt on 5.0 racing a full bolt on c5z. Both guys rowed the gears fairly well. GT made 407, z06 made 390. They were side by side with a slight edge to the z06. The problem with the new 5.0s is that so many people can afford them and give how strong they are a bad name. There transmission really does help out the power to weight ratio advantage of the vettes. But either way... i want to run a bolt on c5 z badly.

I was actually going to buy a new 5.0 but i needed to give myself a reality check on payments since i have major things coming up in my life very soon. I had a C5Z but its gone now maybe for a reason and i bought a 4 door instead. Either way ive driven several 5.0's not the Boss and they are no doubt fast even A6's. So i think with a bolt on C5Z with a good driver it should be a very good race.

Sounds rather idiotic to believe a stock internal N/A 5.0 would realistically average ~470whp on a dyno. They'll gain about 50whp from bolt-ons/Boss intake putting them around 430 or so to the wheels.

I want to race both. truthfully i think i would pull on a bolt on c5 z. But id like to race one and actually do it before i claimed it. And want to run a c6 z06. Im not one to care if i win or lose. I like racing.

they dont... thats super happy dyno land. Which is why dynos are gay. So far on the dyno i use.
With air intake, i made 396whp
Full bolt on (including boss intake) m6 5.0 made 405whp
Full bolt on cammed(23X/23X) m6 ls2 gto made 422whp
a6 5.0 with full exhaust/air intake/tune made 388whp
full bolt on/ls6 cam/1.8 rockers/ported ls2 heads TA made 407whp
All cars on the same dyno, all numbers below average (for the fabled internet dyno numbers). All tuned by different people.
