Default what are you guys doing to freshen or bling up your PCM?

I know these PCM's are prone to turning chalky looking and I hate the way mine looks , I really want to clean it up a bit when I install it in my 71 camaro engine bay.

What are you guys doing? Paint, Chrome, polish, powdercoat?

I thought about painting mine with a black texture paint and call it a day...just wanted to see what everyone else is doing

I Hide it under the dash...! LOL..

I have seen some pictures of some with it painted.. but all three would be something that could be pulled off without to much work.

But is your taking Bling!.. Chrome or custom Paint job..is my vote.

Our gen III pcm's are bead blasted. They look pretty sharp. They could be cleared after to prevent oxidation.

scuff it with a scotchbrite pad and hit it with paint. Whatever color you want. Mine's black, since I don't want it drawing attention

Some 3m dinoc might be another option, not sure how well it would hug the contours though. I'd probably find a chrome box of some sort to put it in were it not under my dash.

I talked my buddy into having his polished since it was in the engine compartment, and highly visible. Looks pretty sharp I think.

That does look good. Did he clear it with anything?

No, just polished. Might have to hit it with some wheel polish every now and then, but it's not like it's on a daily driver so shouldn't be too bad.
