Well lets see if this will work! I am doing a ls2 block, 58 tooth reluctor wheel, 4 inch stroke crank, using 4 inch rods, to make a 402 stroker, 4.0005 pistons, ls3 heads and ls3 intake and cable throttle body! What id like to know is : to install this in a Ls1 2001 trans am, i will need reluctor wheel transducer? cam senson harness extension, knock sensor extension with ls1 sensors, ls1 to ls3 injectors harness adapters? can i run the stock ls1 computer? with a tune of course? and is there anything i am missing? Thanks Mike

If you are sticking with the LS2 58X reluctor, then you can get a Lingenfelter box to run LS1 PCM and DBC, it will come with the cam extension for the front mounted sensor on the LS2.

Make sure you are using the 4x bump timing gear with the Lingenfelter box.

Remove the stock ls1 knock sensors and put one on each side of the block. Make sure that the pins on the cam sensor have NOT been flipped meaning ie the brown wired pin in hole #2 is still in #2 on the other side or your car will not start! Ask me how I know. Somehow these wires are getting flipped by whoever or whatever is building the harnesses. I hope you understand. Also all you need is Ls2/3 (same ones) fuel rails and they fit the Ls1 fuel hose. You might want to add a racetronix fuel pump cause chances are you'll be needing one lol.

Edit.. Yea inj adapters will be needed. Sorry started running at the mouth lol.

Have fun on your build.
