So in about a few weeks i will be takeing my 97 Z to the body shop to have the entire car repainted sebring metallic silver. I already decieded that the door jams as well as the inside of the hatch will be done as well. Though I have to figure out what to do with the engine bay, I just put in a new motor with crap load of polished parts, how do i get the engine bay to look as good as the rest of the car when its done being painted. Will detailing the engine bay do the trick?

What color is the bay now? Is silver the stock color?

Hide wires/fill holes/but i would for sure keep it body color, or maybe a flat black would look cool

Yes the engine bay is the stock silver, im going to look into treads about what i can do, painting it at this point in the game is out. I guess some simple green, a touth brush, and some rags, and maybe a steamer is where im headed

You could scuff and clear the core support and shock towers. The bays are usually just base
