What do you torque a balancer bolt too?
I'm replacing my underdrive pully with a stock balancer and need to know what to torque the new balancer bolt too?
The motor is a 98 LS1 that I have swapped into my 73 Z/28. Replacing as I need more voltage at idle to run my accessories as the old girl does not respond well to minimal voltage.
Thanks,
Marc

The correct procedure is with the old bolt torque ballancer to 240 ftlbs, then remove the old bolt and install a new bolt. First torque on new bolt 37 ftlbs then 140 degree of rotation

Thanks. I was considering doing just that. Torque it down some and then after the motor is in the car finish it off. It will be on a lift so the bolt should be easy enough to get to.
