Default Is this a good tire size

I'm thinking of buying some Nitto 555 285 40/17 for my stock WS6 wheels.
Would this work well with the Torquer V3 cam and 390 gears?

Let me know what yall think.
Thanks

Stock rim width is 9"

approved rim width for 285's according to Nitto is ---9.5" to 11"

Just the facts

wws699 is correct as to the recommended rim widths. On the other hand many people myself included run a 285 tire on the 9" rim without any issues. The tires may wear a little more in the center so you might want to run a few pounds less air preasure-mine wear pretty even at 30lbs.
