i swapped my car to a m6 used a t 56 out of a gto and upgraded it to a 32 spline output shaft used a quick time bell housing and have the stock 10 bolt. also have a adjustable torque arm on it. when i got the trans done the guy sent me a yoke for the 32 spline shaft had a drive shaft shop fit it to my stock drive shaft and balance it the problem is it does not sit in as far and i lost the seal after 1200 miles i looks to me that i need a shaft that is 1 inch longer but why is this? also what is the stock length of the drive shaft?

that driveshaft is way too short. I have no idea why. But it is going to ruin the bushing in the tailshaft, seal and the yoke. Dont keep running it like that.

I have the same trans uprgrade done by Jason at TDP and did notice that the different seal he uses made the shaft look too short, but mine was still less than 1" of slip. Yours looks closer to 2". Prolly just didnt took as bad with the stock seal.
