Default ls1 runs like **** help got an event in 2 days

ls1 powered nissan silvia. full motor pullout from a 2000 camaro

did first start up today and it runs like ****. wont idle at all and i can barely keep it alive by opening the throttle. if i open the throttle alot it simply cuts out entirely. i have disabled vats and set the column lock thing to not equipped an fuel cut to 250mph. everything i read about this says its vats or fuel cut but its not i just left my tuner an both things are as they should be..

all sensors have power, throwing no codes, plugs gapped at .060, fuel pressure 58psi while running,

only thing i can think is maybe my wiring. i wired all the sensor 12v constants as well as the ecu battery wire and switched ign wire to a single switch with 14guage wire. could this cause it to run like ****? to much amp draw on the single wire?

any help is appreciated got a drift event in 2 days if someone solves this tonight ill actually pay pal u 50 bucks ill be checking this every few mins and im in my garage so ill check/test whatever ideas you guys can come up with immediatly.

Yes could be that all the ignition hots don't have enough wire material to get the proper voltage...check voltage at the sensors and see if you are getting 12 volts or so...when I did harness I used 10/12 gauge for every three or four wires...hope that helps good luck man

Need more info....is it a stock ls1? Stock tune?
if it was fueling issue (especially vats), it would probably cut all fuel (I.e. fuel pump and/or injectors wont cycle).

stock engine stock tune with maf long tube headers and 3 inch intake.

fuel pump is wired to a switch directly so it cannot be cut and when i checked the injector pulse i couldnt tell if it stopped working before the motor died or when it died becuase it cuts out instantly. like 2000 rpm to 0 in a second. then sometimes able to catch it an do it again by tapping the gas.

ive checked the voltages at the sensors many times. checked the coilpack power while it was running even an watched the volts change between 12.25ish and 14v and even saw it jump as high as 18v. i was thinkin that could be a little weird to be that high?

Stock tune...there's your issue. Something small can throw a tune way off, even headers.

Check for Vacumn leaks, that the MAF is wired correctly and clean, check the Crank and Cam position sensors, connect a scanner to see if all of the sensor are being read.

Who did the wiring ?.. maybe some crossed wires ? some of the circuits are 5v, be careful not to give them full 12v.

Good Luck...

Air leaks downstream of the MAF will do that. EGR plugged, like said above no vac leaks? MAP sensor working?

could running it with just open headers cause this? not enough backpressure? checked vac leaks there are none i did the wiring myself but ive checked every sensor with a multimeter and they are all functioning properly.

if you don't have scan tool to read maf reading, unplug the maf and see if it will stay running, might take a couple of times for the ecu to decide to go into limp mode but if runs with maf unplug its probably your maf.

Is the IAT installed and wired correctly?

Your certain the plugs for the coils are going to the correct banks respectively? Did you check compression?

yea compresions good. IAT is not in my intake piping but in the engine bay near the air filter so reading should be accurate. double checked cylinder banks and wiring is all in the right place. i do have a scan tool to watch maf readings but i dont really know what the readings are supposed to be so its kinda just a number that means nothing to me. when i unplug the maf in instantly dies. the 12v constant to the MAF is on the same circuit as the ecu power and o2 sensor power. would there be enough of a voltage drop running 12v to so many things on this circuit to cause serious problems with no codes??
