Default clean the black off my stainless tips with _________

See pics in sig

I have stock style stainless tips. Should I use oven cleaner etc to get the carbon off em??

What works?

I always used soap and water to get the majority off, then Mothers wheel polish on the entire tip.

This is just a suggestion. I'm sure someone has a better solution than me.

i actually got a hold of some extra tips, and then i got a drill with a round wire bit, and i polished them completely. they shine like a near chrome right now, and i still have not actually bought any stainless steel compound to make them luster more. when i have them finished, i'll try and get a few pictures. they look pretty good at the moment though.

mother's or never dull will work wonders. Carbon stands no chance!

rotary tool with a wire brush should work wonders...

I always use Westley's Bleach white on my chrome tips. I bet it would work fine for yours.

i use goop off in the yellow can...its awesome and it will take anything off the tips...but be careful not to get it on the paint or you will pay

NO!!! Blece-White eats Stainless, and it will never be the same! IT may be fine for chrome, but NEVER stainless, which is what this guy has! NevRDull or Mother's all the way
