Default $8000 for 4 hp???

So I have a c5z with a cam head work and full exhaust that I know of and it pulled 496 hp and tq on a mustang dyno. Threw twin 42 turbos on it and the tuner was proud to tell me last night he made 500 hp on a dynajet dyno. 8 psi springs but was only pushing 6 psi. But even w 6 psi I would def expect more than 4 hp. Can anyone tell me wtf is happening?

With out knowing what he did to the tune, timing? A/F? Where is it seeing 6psi at? the turbo? And is there a boost leak upstream?
The guy could be an idiot too? Hard to say. i sure wouldnt be bragging about making 500hp if I did all that and the car had 496 when it came in....lol. Plug wire disconnected or something?

Plugs and wires are fine. Seeing boost on the gauge out of the vacuum system of the car. Said it ran great, afr's were beautiful and everything. Plus this is my second tuner.

Uh.....wow. Double, triple check for boost leak between turbo, intercooler, and throttle body. Check plugs. What plugs are in the car? Something is way off and I hope it does not cause a failure......

496rwhp with a head/cam n/a setup on a mustang dyno is the questionable part.

lol am i the only one questioning the first 496 rwhp dyno on a typically low reading mustang dyno??? that isnt exactly a normal number for your typical head cam ls motor. i would say 6 psi on a ls and 500 rwhp isnt to terribly bad.... what parts are on your motor right now... heads? cam?

You are dynoing on two different dynos. He probably mistakenly told you 496whp the first time instead of 396whp. Mustand dynos are stingy. How does it feel on the new setup? Take it to the track.

Not even drove it yet. Still being tweaked at the tuner. I was wondering about the first dyno too but the car ran great before. 7.7 @ 100 mph in the 1/8 on firehawk RF's. Sure expected alot more than 500 though.

6 psi is nothing lol.. turn it up past 10-12 and watch the numbers climb. also just because the springs are 8psi spring dont mean ****. thats a rough estimate. not every spring will make exactly the rating in different setups.. dial in your boost with a manual boost controller

Ya I've got it but no idea how to put a pic on here. The shop is very questionable though. Found out the hard way.

Yeah there is no way your car made 496 on motor. Drive it once at 500 and I bet you will will feel the difference.

6 psi should still make at least 120hp... Generally 20-30 HP her PSI

Tell your tuner to hook up the cold side.
