I just wanted to get the word out on this forum as I've seen quite a few cool LS-powered rides present and thought it would be cool if you came.
The location: Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY. Lots of car history in this town with the Drag Strip, Corvette Plant, & Corvette Museum all in close proximity.

Here's some information about the event and if you would like more head on over to www.lsfest.com for details on how to pre-register, rules, etc.
Pre-registration is now OPEN as of two days ago. Those that pre-register before September 4th,2012 automatically get put into a drawing for a $1,000 product certificate that is good for use on any of our Holley brands (including Holley, Hooker, Earl's, Flowtech, Weiand, and NOS).
You can pre-register at the following link:

Hey bro, that's awesome.
If you want to participate in the autocross you can simply purchase one of the packages that include the "autocross" portion of the event. That will get you squared away.
LMK if you have any more questions!

What types of rules will help me pass tech inspection? Is there any site I can view all tech info. My car is 98 z28 and I've always passed tech at other tracks just wondering if I need driveshaft loop, water instead of antifreeze, etc... Thanks I'm looking forward to bringing it as well as the 81 camaro all aluminum carbed 5.3/ 4 speed car I'm thrashing on currently ....

All of the rules that pertain to you drag class @ LS Fest can be found on the website www.lsfest.com I know some changes are being made to the Shut Your Face Race but they're going to be more open, but other than that all of the rest should be staying the same.
Thanks.

I do not have a good answer for you at this time on that one (Steve right?)
I seriously doubt it but I'll ask around.
Thanks.

In the past two years if you registered for the Rumble Class you could enter the True Street free of charge. You just have to make sure that they put it on your card when you are checking in at the gate.

yes its clear as mud, send a pm to one of the nmca guys to make sure.
like i said normally t/s is run based on registration to rumble, so if you need the 3 day drag pack to do rumble then you need to do that to run true street, even if you dont run in rumble at all.. thats all ive ever done.

So there is no regular bracket class right, just index classes? And all of such classes are 1/4 mile?

the only 1/8th mile racing they run is the SYF race and if you're going to run that, best bring a lot of car with you

Ive never been to the LS fest but I'm interested in the auto-x, is this just for fun type of thing or is there classes to compete in? And what would the car need to pass tech for this?

Here is the pricing for the car show portion of the event. A regular 1-day pass as a spectator for Saturday and Sunday is also $20, but i would enter the car show anyways. The perks are closer and safer parking and a chance for prizes (just for parking). The only prize you may get from a regular spectator parking is possibly a leg cramp, a mild sunburn and a hot interior to return to. :)
Thursday Through Sunday Car Show $75
Friday Through Sunday Car Show $55
Saturday Through Sunday Car Show $35
Saturday Only 1 Day Car Show $20
Sunday Only 1 Day Car Show $20
