Nice kill, I didn't think they were close to a stock ls1 car. Any idea what he runs?

I bet that's the turbo version?

The new 6 runs 13.9 at 100 and OP pulled away hard when traction hit.

It's either a turbo 4cyl or a v6. IIRC the v8's only came in the genesis sedan.

Your right my mistake. I know the non turbo ones are actually quicker and respond better to bolt ons.

They need to stuff the v8 into that for sure, they would have a serious contender I think.

It would be pretty badass to see a Asian market v8 pony car that could compete with the big three's offerings. The more competition the better.

yeah its the turboed 4 banger version, he says there rated at 315 hp from factory... pulling him like that in a stock ls1 car i highly dought its only 10 hp less in a lighter car. i think they look nice for a hyundai though!

Would be nice to not hear a tuner car complain about cubes or not enough boost for once.

Nope lol, 2010-2012 2.0T's had 210hp, 2013's have 274. The 2010-2012 V6's had 306hp and in 2013 have 345hp

Keep in mind you don't make 305 or 310hp as advertised. (I guess your rating would be 325 since it's an SS)... I had a women running her mouth with a new Camaro V6 (2011 model) car saying we would be close because I'm rated 310 and her v6 was rated 312hp, she didn't understand what I meant when I told her I put down 324rwhp/341rwtrq with just a FRA mod done. Unfortunately she wouldn't run me even after she initiated the conversation.

yeah i understand 325 hp is a crank hp rating, id be lucky to put down 300 through the m6. probably more like 290 ish

not sure how to quote 2 people in the same post can someone explain??

A buddy of mine picked up a 2012.

He was all excited about the car, then we both went to the local track.
Well he was humbled that night as he struggled to get out of the high 14's.

They are sporty daily driver cars, but dont hold your breath expecting even the newer ones to be that fast in relation to the LSX cars.

If you want to quote 2 people... there are 3 buttons on the bottom right of their post...

1 is the QUOTE, the other is the +", and the last is the Quick reply

Hit the +" on the first person you want to quote (or as many as you want) and then hit QUOTE on the last person you want to quote. This will basically line up all the quotes in a reply so you can reply to all of them.
