Figured I would post up some pics of my rear end install from yesterday. The rear is a Quick Performance housing, Yukon nodular iron n-case, Moser 35 spline axles, Motive 4.11 gears, and a QP 35 spline drag spool. The t/a is a MWC crossmember mount unit. This is their special mount for cars running true duals. Everything went in like a glove. Rear bolted right up and the t/a went right in. Didnt even have to drop the exhaust.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but are the rear calipers mounted on the wrong side of the rotors? They're mounted on the outside (towards the rear of the car) in the pics, but I believe they're supposed to be mounted on the inside (towards the doors). Right?

The calipers are installed correctly. On LT1 cars the calipers are mounted towards the rear.

The center section was assembled by qp. Everything from housing, to axles, to 3rd member was 1990 shipped. The actually assembly of the rear (bolting on 3rd member and putting in axles I did myself

Edit: Nevermind, I now see that it's a stock style MWC torque arm.

Just realized I never updated this thread with the drag bar pictures. Better late than never I guess!

The one downside to the QP 9" is if you, like me, are trying to mount a solid drag bar style sway bar. Because of the T/A mount, it does not allow it to mount to its intended location without some minor modifications.

As you can see here, I had to slightly grind down the back side of the T/A mount to get the drag bar in its proper place
https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/255292_256764877771804_1425403193_n.jpg

Clearance was real tight, but we made it work

Welding the bracket to the axle tube
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/523813_256764801105145_2009417397_n.jpg

Another issue was the chassis links supplied by Wolfe. Again, because of the T/A mount, the bar was placed slightly further back then on your standard rear. Not a problem. We just ordered some longer links and were back in business
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/428862_256764991105126_1843247102_n.jpg

After everything was welded up and adjusted, this was the finished product. Looks badass and performs just as good as it looks

Everything looks good. I'm ordering a rear from them next week. Did you get a standard width rear? Also what are the specs on your wheels tires in the rear?

Did you narrow the axles? Is it a spool?

Yes the car has a spool and not it is not narrowed (yet). Stock length rear with 28x11.5 Mickey Thompson ET Drags. Mounted on 15x10 Weld Drag Lites with a 7.5bs. Gonna be hopefully having the rear chopped 3in on each side and running 325/50/15 Hoosiers on 15x10 Weld Vektor RT's with a 4.5bs...

Hahaha yea. I'm friends with Kyle (owner of 1320video) and we were fucking around. He made it and said "I hope you have a good sense of humor." I got a kick out of it. Lol
