A guy I know has a 6.0 in his camaro. Not sure if its a LQ4 or LQ9 but its suppose to be out of a SS silverado. When I looked at it the car had headers, full exhaust, 410s, LS6 intake, 799 heads, and its suppose to be cammed. All he knows about on the cam is its suppose to be a 551 lift. What kind of rwhp are we looking at with this set up?

I just made 380/380 with my LQ9. I got a 03 LS6 cam, LTs, ported TB, LS6 intake, 3.90 gears. 6 speed. No UD pulley. SLP 2OTL catback. No cats.

The LS6 cam 204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.551" / 0.547"

Depending on the cam he has, id guess 400-410rwhp

Since he said 551 lift and a LS6 cam is a 551 lift I'm gonna say hes running basically the same set up as you. Did 799s come on a LQ4/9?

If it has a stock sounding idle and he know its a .551 lift cam, it probably is the LS6 cam. 317s came on the LQ9/LQ4. They flow about the same as the 799s & 243's but if he has the 799 head on the motor, that would give the engine more compression that the stock 317.

I got stock 317s on my 6.0 and have 10:1CR

How would that set up run on a stock tune?

very well. I was very suprised how good my car ran on the stock tune. I dont think I gained much peak power. I am sure I gained power in the low & mid range after My tuner cleaned up the A/F ratio & gave it some more timing & moved the rev limiter to 6600.

With the current setup, I expect mid 12s @113 in the summer heat at my track, running it full weight, full street, babying the stock 10 bolt. Then bottom 12's, maybe high 11's@116 in perfect weather.
