Carbureted LSX forum - 5.3 carb or fuel injection

Hi im new to the forums and i own a 79 camaro. I bought a 5.3 LM7 that I want to stick a turbo on it. The car will be used on the street and strip on weekends but im caught between going carb or fuel injection. I like the simplicity of running a carb and would fuel injection really be worth it in the long run?

If you have a blow through carb already, the carb would be the way to go. But if you dont have a cowl hod and no carb parts yet, EFI may be your solution. But it is expensive for the injectors and a real intake to make the most from the boost.
