Well I got rid of my stock sail panel subs. I replaced them with Audiopipe TS-AR6. The specs are 150 peak and 75 rms. Magnet is a decent size on them. I havent found any reviews on them and I currently havent listened to them yet. I will update on how they sounds when I give them a week or two to listen to them. I took some pictures for you guys if you wanted to have a look. I may not keep these for very long, but I got a decent deal on them. I will be saving up to either buy the Bazooka speakers or the CDT speakers. Enjoy and give me some feedback. Thanks.

I had those in my sail panels and the sound was quite good - a significant improvement over stock. However, Ian (Kee Audio) reports that he has had some problems with failures in them so he doesn't recommend them anymore. Mine lasted a couple of years without problems and were working fine when I sold the car.

I have the CDT'S and the driver side sounds like it has blown coils. Have had them less than a year. The full range CDT's in the hatch were also cracking but the cables going to the tweeter were hitting the speaker so I just bent them back and that fixed it....however that's just poor craftsmanship.

I have these in my sail panels and I think they sound pretty good. In my car I did have to take them out a few times and put in some dynamat .... Other than the rattling I think they sound good. I think after I got a 10in sub in the back I appreciated them more for the mid bass they provide if that makes sense ..

I have kickers that are 150rms
I used a kicker 300.2 to power my 2 6.5 2 ohm subs, and with my new headunit it SOUNDS AMAZING!

Twisted I am not using any amp with them, they run off of the factory monsoon amp. I am kind of impressed with these speaker, although they dont seem to have as low of a bass note as the stock speakers if that makes sense? Maybe because they dont have enough air space? If anyone wants to chime in I would be glad to try things. They sound much better than that factory fart noise coming from a blown speaker!

I thought the same thing regarding the low notes, but i was also getting alot of rattle. So i went back and installed mdf spacers which did give them a little more room to breath.. and that made them sounds better.

I may try the bazookas at a later date, im not really sure that these will make that much of a difference since I am going to put a full system in the car anyways. What size spacer did you use LS1SSZ28?

To the guys who have aftermarket "subs" in the sails did you run an amp bridged to them or just run them off the stock stuff?
