Default Anyone ever have a HAL shock blow out?

I had my car on the lift the other night, I was going over everything checking up on the suspension, my right rear hal was the only one that was BLACK...covered in dirt, because of the oil on the surface.......

The setting has never been below 5, I can't see how it would just GO......

Does HAL offer a warranty on this?

Yes I have 3 that are that are blown out on my car right now, they have never been below 2 or above 7. I am not to impressed with the Hals, they are coming off and afco's are going on

Thats shitty, I guess I can get a new one for a decent price, the shop that does my work says they can send it in to HAL, but its not positive that it will get covered....

My friend blew out his HALs in the front on his T/A. He ended up getting Koni SA for the front.

I've seen them blow out, mostly due to driving around on the street with them at full loose.

I had one repaired by Hal Lee, the original Hal. I don't have his contact info anymore.
