Default Digital Or Analog Guages

I have a 1965 Buick Skylark that I will soon be intalling a L92/6L80E motor trans combo into. I am still undecided on the guages. I have attached a picture of a panel from a 65' Skylark to give one a feel for it. The clear plastic over the speedometer is about 15.5" wide and varies from 2" on the left to maybe 2.5" on the right top to bottom.

It appears that digital guages would fit better but I am not sure on a digital tachometer for reading purposes. Any thoughts and experiences appreciated.
